The City of Hubbard has graciously allowed us space on B St. between 4th and 5th (see map below) to use as the Jubilee Community Garden.  Each plot is a 4′ by 20′ raised garden bed.  Water, seeds, tomato cages and bean polls, as well as soil amendments each spring are all provided.  Along with growing food for yourself, gardeners are also asked to give 10% of their produce grown to those in need through the Jubilee Food Pantry.  Each 4′ by 20′ raised planter bed can be tended by a family or split in half for the season.  The cost to be a part of the Jubilee Community Garden is by donation only.  The entire garden (including insurance, city water bill, seeds, tomato cages, been polls, general garden repairs, etc.) costs approximately $600 per year, so any donation is appreciated.  If you are interested in growing your own food and knowing where your produce comes from, while at the same time helping those in our community who are in need, please contact Andy or Serenity.
